Key details

Dr Ana M Castilla

Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Ana holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of the Balearic Islands and has carried out research in several institutions such as the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), University of Liverpool, University of Cambridge and Queen Mary University of London. Her research background is highly interdisciplinary, spanning different areas within the fields of supramolecular and materials chemistry, and nanotechnology. In October 2019, Ana moved to her new role at the University of Greenwich where she is pursuing her research interests in the bottom-up design of smart gels and other soft (nano)materials at the interface of supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology and biomaterials.
